Dear Friends
We have come to the end of another wonderful year, or so it seems. Time is a relative thing, especially when you know who you are, and nothing ever really happens! Yet of course things do happen on the personal level, life is one long experience. We hope it’s been a good year for all of you, that your experiences, good or bad, have been contextualized and objectified by Self-knowledge. Let’s see what 2024 has in store. Whatever it is, we wish you all a year of the peace and satisfaction only limitless, unchanging nondual vision can deliver. We start off the year flying to New York, we will keep everyone posted.
We have loved the way our Sunday satsangs have grown and developed into a sangha of dedicated inquirers. It has been such a pleasure to meet with you every week and share these priceless teachings. Though there may be a break for a few weeks, depending on our trip to New York and how we cope with the jetlag and everything, we are committed to continue the Sunday satsangs. Next year we hope to have more sessions with all of our wonderful Shiningworld teachers joining in.
A few people have asked me who selects the content of our Newsletters, and we are happy to say that Georg has taken this over entirely from me. We have given him free reign and though the Newsletter was my baby for a long time, since he took it over, it has greatly improved. Georg has been with us for a year and has done a fabulous job of managing our online and social media presence. Thank you, Georg, you have become an important member of our Shiningworld team, one we have come to rely on and trust.
We would also like to thank our dear friend and fellow teacher, Dave Reid. Thank you for your incredibly generous support of us personally, and of Shiningworld – you are a true friend to both of us, and to everyone you serve as a teacher. We particularly thank you for setting everything up for our trip to New York, your help is invaluable. We look forward to our stay with you.
To our dear friends John and Lisa Baxter and Robert Voss, we are so proud to have you as part of our Shiningworld team too, and we are deeply grateful for what you do for us and for Shiningworld. Bless you, and thank you!
To our other fellow teachers, Rory Mackay, Ben de Silva and Lucua du Preez , thank you also for your uncompromising dedication to the ancient lineage of Vedanta, and to sharing the teachings with such excellence. We are proud to have you as part of Shiningworld.
To all of you who have donated to Shiningworld so generously, thank you for helping us in disseminating these priceless teachings. We could not do it without your help.
May Isvara bless you all
With much love,
Sundari and Ramji
Ps. We had a peaceful Christmas with the Chairman, a delicious turkey, and a little champagne! Amazing weather - it's almost like summer here in Spain.
